Training and Employment Programs

We have two training and employment programs running across 2023.

Our Conservation Cadets start work 31 January 2023, so keep an eye out for them working in the community. This program is designed to support people who have found a disability a barrier to finding employment. The next round will be recruited in June 2023, to start work in July. Cadets earn a full award wage for 20 weeks, whilst working part-time (24 hrs/wk) on community projects across all four islands. They gain accreditation in introductory conservation and tourism units, while learning in hands-on environment
