Generally does not strangle or damage the plants it climbs on. Frost tolerant. Easy to propagate from seed.


Additional uses

Host plant for the larvae of the Four Eyes or Ivy Leafroller Cryptoptila immersana, the moth Phelotis cognata, the moth Scioglyptis lyciaria, and the Lacy Emerald Anisozyga insperata.
