Fruits and flowers year round. Very hardy and can tolerate saline or sandy soils, and some frost. Nice plant for rockeries.
Additional uses
A sweet tea can be made by soaking the berries in water. Leaves are also edible, but high in oxalates so best to blanch before eating.
