We’re recruiting for a new program under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work – Get Set for Work scheme, and these 6 young people will be our 2nd Round of “Go Getters”.
With our Containers for Change social enterprise expanding to add Container Collect for customers on Russell and Macleay Islands, this volunteer program for young people aged 15-19 will give them on-the-job experience of customer service, warehousing, and waste management, whilst earning their Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations, and building up their driving hours towards their licence. Supervised by a qualified Youth Worker, they’ll also be supported to develop other job readiness and life skills.
More information can be found in the pack below. The deadline for applications is Thursday 28 December 2024, and Go Getters would start Monday 2nd December 2024. The link to apply online is on the last page of the information pack.
If you’d like to find out more, you can ring 0473 435 086 during our office hours (Monday-Friday 8am-1pm) or email admin@runningwild.org.au.
