The Wild Goat Bistro started as part of a unique learning program delivered by Running Wild. Trainees are undertook a Certificate I in Hospitality under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative, and the majority of their learning is “hands on” in the bistro at the Bay Islands Golf Club, and before that at the Lamb Island Recreation Club.
Now Wild Goat Hospitality runs as a social enterprise catering events and markets. We are involved in the upcoming Tide Festival, have our own Walk, Talk and Fork events held in conjunction with our conservation team, and we have a food van that we take to markets and outdoor events.
